If humans evolved over time, then—strictly speaking—there was no "first" man and woman. Adam & Eve didn't exist.
Without Adam and Eve, there could be no "fall of man".
If there was no original sin, there was no curse on the human race.
Without the curse, we have no need of redemption.
No need for a "savior".
If we don't need a savior, Jesus as the Messiah is a complete fabrication.
Jesus could not have been born of a virgin and there was no resurrection.
No "second coming". No battle of Armageddon.
The biblical prophets are reduced to philosophers.
If mankind "evolved" over thousands of years, the "God" of the Bible cannot exist.
If creationist's wish to properly debunk the theory of evolution, they must become more educated and avail themselves of the full spectrum of research available on this issue. It is not enough to say "faith" is all the matters. Lack of research creates fools who lack credibility, which is of great importance in drawing others to their faith. Those who lack credibility gain few followers and the number of adherents will slowly decline. Ultimately, this is a death sentence to any religion espousing the creationist point of view.
I call upon those who are educating others on the creationist perspective to 1) dig a little deeper through the mountains of research, 2) read The Origin of Species (Barnes & Noble Classics Series)
I just cracked open "The Greatest Show on Earth"!
